Announcement cards don't always have to be printed out and you can certainly make do with hand written announcement if you so wish. Really special events deserve something more however, and for these more professionally designed announcement cards are better suited. You always get back what you put in, and spending that little bit of extra time and thought into your announcement cards will definitely show in the results. Of course all announcement cards will at the very least provide the event that is being announced, the name of the sender, and possibly the date and location when the event is to take place. For events such as weddings or births, you will also want to provide the names of the people involved in the ceremony.
